Hello all -
I am brand new to MySQL although I have used other RDBMSs in the past . . .
I see that MySQL Workbench includes DBA Administration capabilities.
I need to search the binary logs of a server that I am able to connect to. I can work with them using the mysqlbinlog utility. That's very cumbersome since the files are very large.
Where in the Workbench environment does a person view the binary logs of a server?
I have been unable to find this capability. I have searched the help files, the forums, general Google search, etc. but I cannot find how to perform this most basic Administrative function.
I am using Workbench 5.1.18 OSS Revision 4456 on Windows 7
I am connecting to MySQL server 5.1.47 running under Linux (CentOS)
Any ideas? Thank you!
/David C.
