Workbench unable to open SSH tunnel to server in VirtualBox guest.
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=51405
MySQL 5.1 is running on OpenSolaris 2009.06 in a VirtualBox guest VM on a Mac OS X 10.6 host. (Using Bridged Networking.) (All running on a Macbook Pro.)
Using the Mac terminal, I can open an SSH session and connect to MySQL on the guest
machine. "SQL Developer" appears to work properly; I can connect, create, and query
databases.
However, when I attempt to enable "SSH login based administration," I get the following error:
"Error Connecting to Server (student@opensolaris.local)
Could not establish SSH connection: Incompatible ssh server (no acceptable ciphers)."
I would like to administer MySQL (start/stop, etc.,) from within Workbench, if possible, even when it is running on a remote server. Any ideas?
