Hallo @ all,
I have problems to get remoteaccess to my mysql-server.
I use MySQL Workbench as Client at home. Since two days I'm trying to connect to my Server which runs on the server of my provider.
I don't get any reply of my server, when I try to connect.
According to netstat, my Server is listening on port 3306 with his public IP as I configured it in my.cnf.
With MySQL Workbench I try to connect with the Standard TCP/IP. Moreover I enter the public IP of my server, port and additionally the Username of the MySQL account and the corresponding password.
In the last two days I've been trying everything. I chanced the port, tried another user...
Local on the server with the shell it works excellent.
It's frustrating.:(
May someone of you give me a hint?
Thank you.
