Tab handling issues (no replies)

When there are hidden tabs, the current tab should be visible and selected.
Currently after one goes to the next tab via Ctrl-tab, the contents are shown but the tab bar is not updated to show the current tab's name. The root cause seems to be that one can only scroll to the right, but not to the left.

Also, scrolling via mouse or trackpad should help one navigate within tabs.
