I came across diagrams of extension tables like here:

Note the relation is between parent tables. The sub tables extend a parent table.
Is it possible to show a hierarchy like this with MySQL Workbench or do I have to use other tools - and which one would you recommend (like maybe Viso, Word, etc.)
(Layers in MySQL Workbench seem to only serve the purpose to color any area)
