Often cannot restore workspaces (no replies)

Every time when starting MySql workbench after a computer crash (and often even when it hasn't crashed) I am unable to restore my workspace

I get a dialogue box saying

restore workspace
could not read contents of c:/users/me/appdata/roaming/mysql/workbench/...
failed to open file
no such file or directory

Is there a way to recover my workspace when this happens? There are .info and .scratch files in the workspace directory

This is MySql workbench 6.3.9 on windows 7
