I'm using Workbench V5.240CE at one IP location, and I believe Workbench v6+ at another IP location.
When I connect to the remote database (not at either IP address), If I'm using V5.24 I can edit/update any of the routines regardless if the DEFINER ip address. However, if I'm using the V6 workbench, I can not modify the routine/function/view if the the DEFINER is NOT my IP. However, I can delete them, then recreate them under the same name.
Both use the same login name
Since this the IP's are setup via a control panel web interface so I can't set roles through that.
Is this something that is specific to Workbench V6+? that my 5.24 one just ignores?
Thanks
GG
