Starting a new database quickly (no replies)

I'm a beginner to mysql workbench, i want to create a database which is connected to a website using php, i'm using apache as my host server n workin on wampserver.. can u please tell me where i can get information to use workbench to create a database n connect the databse to a server n work with php plz
